CPR AED for the Professional Rescuer
Advanced level of CPR training for individuals who have a job-related "duty to respond" to emergencies. The 8-hour course includes an overview of body systems and medical/legal issues. Participants learn how to recognize and provide care in respiratory and cardiac emergencies for adults, children and infants, with special emphasis on two-rescuer CPR use of the resuscitation mask, bag-valve mask and Automated External Defibrillator. Techniques for minimizing the risk of disease transmission and for special resuscitation situations are included. This course is especially recommended for medical professionals, lifeguards, aerobics/fitness/sports instructors and public and private safety/security employees. This ARC certificate is valid for 1 year.
CPR AED Adult
This 4.5-hour course prepares individuals to provide care for breathing emergencies and perform CPR for victims (age 12 and up) of sudden cardiac arrest. You’ll also learn when and how to use the emergency medical service (EMS) and how to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. This ARC certificate is valid for 1 year.
CPR AED Child plus Infant CPR
This 5-hour course focuses on the special application of cardiac and breathing emergency skills to infants and children through the age of 12. You’ll learn how to reduce the risk of injury or death by properly identifying breathing and cardiac emergencies and administering the appropriate CPR measures. Infant/Child CPR is indispensable for parents (especially new parents), day care providers, babysitters and nannies, grade school teachers and staff, and anyone else who is in frequent contact with infants and small children. This ARC certificate is valid for 1 year.
CPR AED Adult and Child plus Infant CPR
This comprehensive 6-hour CPR course provides ARC certified training for use with adult, infant and child victims in a variety of emergency situations. You’ll learn how to reduce the risk of injury or death by properly identifying breathing and cardiac emergencies and administering the appropriate CPR measures. You’ll also learn when and how to use the emergency medical service (EMS) and how to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. This course is indispensable for all adults and teenagers who may be called upon to assist others in an emergency. This ARC certificate is valid for 1 year.
CPR Party For Family and Friends
The CPR Party for Family and Friends Course is modular and teaches rescuers skills in CPR and relief of choking (foreign-body airway obstruction). It presents information about the American Heart Association adult Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults. The course also presents information on the American Heart Association pediatric infant and child Chain of Survival, signs of choking in infants and children, how to reduce risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), and prevention of the most common fatal injuries in infants and children. The course also teaches CPR and rescue breathing emergency skills. This course is intended for new or expecting parents and family members of patients at risk for sudden cardiac death, and other laypersons who want to learn rescue skills for loved ones. This course is conducted in your home and is intended for 4 - 10 participants. This course is for information purposes only. No Certification Cards will be issued.
